We’re excited to announce our 2025 Convention in Fort Smith Arkansas. ACB 2025 “Music on the Frontier” will take place June 4-8, 2025. Our Partner Band is the River Valley Community Band, under the direction of Jeffrey Marlow. As with conventions in the past, there will be clinics, workshops, discussion panels, a convention band and musical performances by ACB member bands. We are delighted to welcome Colonel (Ret.) Thomas Rotondi, Jr, former commander of the United States Army Band “Pershing’s Own” as conductor of the 2025 ACB Convention Band. For many years, True West magazine has tipped their hats to Fort Smith – declaring it a “Top True Western Town,” for several years. This award recognizes Fort Smith for preserving and sharing its authentic western heritage. The Fort Smith Museum of history plays an important role in preserving Fort Smith’s past. You can visit several special historically significant sites that commemorate Fort Smith’s past – such as the National Park Services’ National Historic Site and National Cemetery. Explore the many heritage trails that came through Fort Smith such as the Butterfield Trail, the Arkansas Trail of Tears and Trail of Tears Overlook and River Walk, and Civil War Trails – all part of the Arkansas Heritage Trails System. ***NEW TO ACB CONVENTIONS: CALL FOR CLINICIANS!!!***We want YOU!As an ACB Member some of us have valuable information that we can share with the ACB attendees.
